There is no provision for such in today's software. The entire
toolbar may be hidden, though, if so desired. (One of the
improvements in 8.5 is that the application is actually useable
when the toolbar is hidden, so if you want to recover the space,
it may be worth a try.)
If I was coming to BBE as a new customer, the toolbar icons on their
own would be enough to put me off buying it.
Funny; people used to say that about the old toolbar icons. :-)
