are Markers any good?
Marginally. That is, they must be really good for some purpose; but
*you have to name them*. For me, having to bring up a dialog box and
type a name is just enough disincentive to keep me from ever using the
feature.
don't forget you can hold down option for the selection to
become a marker with no more fuss.
I miss the days when you could pull it from the Menu, actually,
when a keystroke could do nearly everything in one go. That was
um, version 5? I guess the menubar got really crowded (now I'm
off to look in the manual in case the keystroke is back since i
last asked about it...)
