After upgrading to BBEdit 8.7, I tried a multi-file search on a file
group, which I had created by selecting a folder, and only got one
result. I opened the same folder with a BBEdit Disk Browser, and
searched with the same phrase and get the expected hundreds of results.
Perhaps I am doing something wrong. When I first searched the file
group, which contains several hundred files, the search result came
back immediately. Searching using a Disk Browser takes about 20 seconds.
I've tried this several times. The files in the Group are xml files
with lots of embedded legacy html. I searched for '<td>'. The search
against the file group returned 6 results, the search against the
Disk Browser returns 1,812 results.
Something appears amiss.
