I'd have to strongly agree with this. The read-only Disk Browser has
to be the most frustrating thing in BBEdit for me right now. I have
File Groups, Disk Browsers, and multi-file windows with document
drawers all open at the same time, just to edit and view a couple of
web sites, each with its own controllers, models, etc. Each window
type has its own unique "anatomy", capabilties, and limitations. Is
this level of complexity really necessary, and what is the benefit?
An editable Disk Browser window would make things so much simpler and
easier -- it's been done elsewhere, and is very effective.
