But if you really need this, you can do your sorting in a BBEdit 
UNIX Filter where you get the data to play with and can do 
pretty much any transformation on it that you want.

There is, IIRC, a “Sort Lines.sh” factory installed that 
just calls the command line “sort” utility (from GNU 
Coreutils). If you get stuck, posting a sample of your input 
data here might inspire someone to help you put something together.
