Hi all, I manage a web site hosted at GoDaddy. With the latest update to BBEdit, I'm having problems with FTP connections to my site.
My work flow (which has worked for a very long time) is to launch Interarchy in order to move some files around, and then open the BBEdit FTP Browser window, choose a file (or several files), click the Open button and edit away. During my work flow, Interarchy is left open. Since the most recent BBEdit update, I can't reliably read and write files from/to my server. If I quit Interarchy, that sometimes helps. If I close the BBEdit FTP Browser window, or click Disconnect, that sometimes helps. I closed one text file and tried to open another and that failed... for a little while... and then the problem cleared itself up. I know that GoDaddy used to limit Web sites to two FTP connections at a time which is agreeably lame. However, my combination of Interarchy and BBEdit have been working for years... until this most recent update. GoDaddy customer supports tells me they have had no change in FTP policy. I can only think that the recent changes to BBEdit are the cause. Can anyone shed some light, or share a common experience? TIA!
