Option-double clicking on a single word triggers the Search -> Find  
Selected Text command. You can do the same thing for a full line with  
Option-triple click.

If you have the "Allow single-click line selection" preference turned  
on, this also works with a Option-single click on the line numbers.

I don't believe there's any way to turn off this behavior. But if you  
don't like it, the easiest solution is to simply not do it! ;-)

Why are you holding the Option key when clicking on a line number  
anyway?
