While that may work, I think the OP is referring to the fact
that if you do a Get Info, choose BBEdit under the "Open
With" option, and then choose the "Change All" option, webloc
files will still open with your default web browser when you
double-click them. I just tried this, and this is exactly
what happens. I am using BBEdit 9.6.2 on a Snow Leopard iMac.
While I haven't tried it yet, one possible solution, if he
really wants all webloc files to open with BBEdit, is to try
using the free Prefs Pane called "Default Apps". I have used
this app successfully in the past, when using the Get Info
method does not work.
