Good point, the email program in this case is the google groups UI itself, the email addresses are in full in the html (I just checked), +1 to Robert Rosenberg's point, once you use your email address it is 'out there', even if you just send a few emails, I know of email accounts getting spammed even though they had not sent any emails.
That being said if this google group is exposing email addresses isn't that google's issue and not the bbedit's crew. And what does this have to do with bbedit support ?
