Remembering the state of a document including its size and
position is expected behavior in BBEdit. If you are not seeing
it, then I don't know why.
Remember to save the document before closing it, even if you
have not changed any content because saving includes the window
state, cursor location, etc.
Open a blank document, save it, then size it and locate it as
much as you want. Note that where the documents's filename is
listed ---- whether a project list, the "Windows" window or the
navigation bar of the document itself --- the empty diamond icon
is shown which indicates a change in state (if not content). Do
a save and that diamond should disappear. Close and then re-open
your window and is not where you left it?
