Remembering the state of a document including its size and position is expected behavior in BBEdit. If you are not seeing it, then I don't know why.

Remember to save the document before closing it, even if you have not changed any content because saving includes the window state, cursor location, etc.

Open a blank document, save it, then size it and locate it as much as you want. Note that where the documents's filename is listed ---- whether a project list, the "Windows" window or the navigation bar of the document itself --- the empty diamond icon is shown which indicates a change in state (if not content). Do a save and that diamond should disappear. Close and then re-open your window and is not where you left it?

Second, when I open a BBEdit document it does not rmember the size and position that the docuemtn was left with previously.
