Thanks Bruce for the pointer - I had a look at the syntax check, and
it looks like what's going on is that some php strings that contain
html markup are confusing the html parser and causing BBEdit to think
there are syntax problems where there actually aren't.

No biggy, as I say I can use PHP code highlighted which is more
appropriate for this case anyway.

If it happens again at least I know what to look for.
