That makes sense and I can understand their reasoning. I guess it will be up to the enduser to evaluate if BBEdit as is fits their needs and workflow. I still think it would be appropriate for users to share their requests here on the forum as well as send to bbedit support. Why? It gives other users ideas and opens discussion on what feature could (or could not) make BBEdit a better editor.
