I'm sorry, I didn't mean to troll you guys. Bill has a point: The problem 
is that "better" is super subjective, and building a product for yourself 
turns out to be a pretty good way to build software. I definitely don't 
have any quarrel with that. BB has their process, it's kept them in 
business for 20+ years and that fact is hard to argue with in this industry.

I do agree with Rick that making feature requests (and BB's opinion of 
them) more visible would only be a plus for the community as a whole, but 
let's be honest, they already have my money. It's not going to make a 
difference (to them) whether I stop using their product now or not. When 
that time comes, it's really going to ruin MY day though.

Thanks all, but _please_ move on to more productive conversations. I'd hate 
for you to waste your time debating something that's not going to change.
