I've been using BBEdit 9, and in switching to 10 (not yet on a permanent basis) I've found - well, NOT found, several features which are critical to my work flow.
For example, - The "i" icon that pointed to page information is missing. - The soft wrap feature was relocated to the "T" drop down menu. - I can no longer run a perl script, look at the output, then simply hit cmd-cntrl-left-bracket to get back to the code because the output opens in a separate window that isn't in the same work space. Is there a "map" to all the missing/relocated features that were in BBEdit 9 and are missing/moved in 10? Or a way to configure 10 to recover the features of 9? Here's an example of what I'm looking for in terms of a "map": --- Soft Wrap Text: Now under 'T' drop down extreme top left of document window --- Page information - doesn't exist --- To force the unix output page into the current workspace, change the prefs at ... At this point, despite there being a lot of cool new features in 10, I'm thinking of sticking with 9. -- This is the BBEdit Talk public discussion group.
