That's exact.
I wouldn’t want BBEdit saving the actual document automatically, so that
only leaves the auto-save ‘backup’ files. I checked the default settings
for auto-save (it’s an expert pref) and BBEdit will save the document
every minute. Granted I can type a lot in one minute, but no so much
that I need more frequent auto-saves.
Ahhhh, I didn't know that, I mean that it will save each minute.
What is the actual problem you want to solve with an option to “save
every change”?
The same problem you talk about: "type a lot in X time", but I don't
need this speed. Where do you adjust the time between savings ? Is it
possible ? Anyway I'm going to try this feature.
