Hey Duncan, I sent Tom a Christmas card in 2018 and had a brief email correspondence with him. It's the usual story – he got a job, had a family, and got busy... :-) In my opinion the only really viable replacement for Tex-Edit Plus is Jedit Ω <http://www.artman21.com/en/jeditOmega/>.
