That's not necessary, and in fact I recommend against it.  If you've added 
/usr/local/Cellar or any subpath of it to /etc/paths, you should remove it or 
there will be tears later.

As Rainer said:

So on your Intel machine, I expect you will find that /usr/local/bin/ is 
already in $PATH, and your Homebrew-installed tools are already available.
