I use both, and have been both a Mac and a Unix user for over a
decade.  There is one UI thing in OSX that I find far more
annoying in day-to-day use than I would have thought:  I use ctwm
with autoraise, so I'm used to being bring up a web site by
selecting the URL in an xterm, moving the mouse over a netscape
window, and middle-clicking.  In OSX (where I still use ctwm, but
rootless with oroborus X), I need to select it, move the mouse
over the browser window, click to bring the browser to the
foreground, command-L command-V <return>.  It probably takes all
of an extra second, but annoys me all out of proportion.

I use a 3-button mouse; naitive applications are just fine and X
does what you'd expect.
