I use skytel. They have better antennas than the rim, and generally have
better coverage. I also try to get customers to email pages to an av8
address that forwards the page to regular email. This helps in the cases
where your online in a machine room, but have no pager service. It also
helps in the case you have to change pagers. (eg, after you tip over the
kayak, without a dry bag for the pager, cellphone, an palm... smack!).

On the downside, Skytel is a Worldcom company, and I just got my
notification of bankruptcy in the mail...

I've been thinking about moving paging to SMS messaging on my GSM phone. I
have voicestream, though, and I'm not very happy with the cost structure.
