I cannot address the problem of the 4318 radios. As Michael said, it is a 
complicated problem but it 
is being worked on.

As do I; therefore, I use a patch similar to the one proposed by Hendrick 
Sattler.

I agree that it is difficult to follow all the patches. I will explore the 
possibility of setting up 
an HTTP server with this kind of combined patch on it. I'll post the 
availability when/if it is 
ready. If the new server is not feasible, I'll post such patches to the bcm43xx 
mailing list with a 
subject line that indicates the intent.
