Yeah, in the few hours since my last
posting, I got around to the firmware business....results were not as expected
Using the shipped 2.6.18-4 in deb4 (not deb3 as I erroneously reported before
;) + bcm43xx in deprecation, the driver keep erroring out, complaing about IRQ
timeout as it goes to core_up with errorcode -19 -- it attempts this twice and
seemingly runs way....
Using a pristine 2.6.24 + b43 path, results in exactly the same response as
above -- b43-phy0 ERROR: FOUND UNSUPPORTED PHY (Analog 15, Type 15, Revision
255).....so it would>appear< having the firmware available & load made no
difference at all...
