.....True? I was under the impression that I'd only need hostapd if I planned
to use the card as an accesspoint? Yes, I know I said my plan was to do just
that, but I was thinking managed/ad-hoc modes wouldn't need hostapd to get
running --- are my thoughts in error?
Yesterday was Good Friday, so I was snookered by the public holiday -- today
is another matter, and I think I'll go out and buy a wireless router/AP for the
setup -- what you are saying is that I'll need hostapd even for that?....
