I seem to have a clue about what's going on here. In Buesch's non-working
driver output, there was a line saying "HW CONFIG: freq=2412". Your card now
gives "HW CONFIG: channel=1 freq=2412
phymode=2". "Channel=1" and "freq=2412" are equivalent, so I think
that the real problem is the lack of "phymode=2".
Also, I am now back to my linux box, and I'm gonna test which SPROM value is
causing b43 to freak out. I'll come back (hopefully) with results later.
