Sorry I missed the original post -- my reply is really to the OP
rather than to Pavel.
It would probably be better to report Fedora distribution problems
on Fedora lists rather than the general upstream lists. That said,
since -27.fc8 is working for you, you should probably try the -fc9
kernel built on the same date:

Perhaps it isn't obvious, but not every F9 kernel is newer than every
F8 kernel.
