When I use the baseline modules from linux-2.6.25.9, I cannot associate
with my access points, and I can't even go into monitor mode, the MAC
address is also random. if I use the compat_wireless (snapshot of
06-21) I can associate with my access points and I can even go into
monitor mode. I'm currently using x86 with Broadcom 4318 CF (PCMCIA):
