I have two PCMCIA-format cards, but both are Cardbus devices and show 
up in the lspci output, which is why I assumed yours would. As long as 
compat-wireless works, you are good. Eventually, the Ubuntu kernel 
will catch up with whatever patch fixed your device. Until then, plan 
on using compat-wireless.
