I have found the following link:

If anyone has a better one kindly post it here.
I need to know if there is any new partition technology for linux after ext3
or its the latest.
I'm going to make a ext3 partition using partition magic. then after booting
from ubuntu cd i'll show this one as my target partition. Is there any better
way than this?

Please make clear.
AFAIK as long as you have enough space in your hard drive, you can
install as many os as you want including ubuntu and windows.
