Somewhere ( I forget the exact reference) Steiner did say something about "night soil". His point was that, having gone thru the human digestion process, that material was "de-vitalized". It needs to be re-energized with cosmic forces. So it is a good material to use on flowers, but not edible crops. Flowers will go thru a period of interchange with the cosmic, airy part of the environment which is just what it needs. ========================== Dave Robison
