There's some proceedings of a conference (with Manfred Klett and 
Michaela Gloeckler) on this very thing if you are interested. 
However, the results were inconclusive and the BD orthodoxy remains 
that humanure is best not be used in concentration and then not on 
food crops. There is not that much on well balanced farm and there's 
always some ornamentals that can take the resulting compost.

However if you don't want the BD orthodoxy then John Beeby has done 
some very interesting work using fertiliser values etc.

Incidentally I love the idea that we are continuing to use the 
subject line of popular headgear when talking about human shit. Keep 
the flies off that with your corks lads. The Japanese have made some 
tie pins out of compressed sludge ....
