Their response has been wonderful and they are choosing to show themselves in subtle ways, and some not so subtle. About a month ago I was up at 0430, dressed and went out to do the chores. I went to the horses first. I start filling their water buckets first. While that is going I get their hay. I hear the hose fall out of the bucket, foiled again, not. When I get to the scene the bucket is full and the hydrant is turned off...hmmm. Last Sunday, hot, and no wind. As I walk back and forth on a path from the shop to the house, constantly picking dandelions, each time I pass a clump of trees the leaves on the ground rustle and make lots of noise as if the wind is blowing thirty mph. I did not catch on till after 'bout six trips, I laughed and thanked them for the treat, gave them some compost... dancing in the light...SStorch
