Hi! Allan,
Although I have not met the Dalai Lama, as have a number of my friends, I
have found him to be a personal inspiration for me as I live my life, which
is about as far from that of most Tibetans as I can imagine. I would think he
would be a very powerful inspiration for his fellow Tibetans. I have learnt
many lessons by reading about him, hearing him talk and seeing him on film. I
am sure I live a better life for his being. I do this without having to
belong to any group or belief structure. Ones like the Dalai Lama don't have
to "do", to be is enough.
