I meant it as an extreme example to show that there are unlimited and mind blowing possibilities for the spirit to imbue the physical if we work with it, and to illustrate my belief in the possibility of humanity's ability to manifest a reality. Examples might include dead people from the other side communicating with us over here, miraculous healings, successful sequential spraying (just to stay ON TOPIC).
Strict devotion to spiritual excersises is certainly a most challenging physical effort, don't you agree? Soul work and cultivating inner spiritual activity are very valid efforts. Rudolf Steiner did not become a farmer, yet he surely engaged his will forces to the utmost. Steiner cautioned against mediumship, in that all clairvoyance should be acheived through clear thinking and true understanding...WORK. So, I agree with you, my point was that 'the work' can lead us to all possibilities. We better believe in miracles when we see what the Monsantos are doing!-Christy ----- Original Message ----- From: Allan Balliett <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, July 29, 2002 10:48 PM Subject: Re: FW: [globalnews] Stop the Corporate Takeover of our Water > Christy Karrow said: > > >If we had all taken the Dalai Llama's approach, 70 years of > >spiritual exercises, I guarantee you there is a damn good chance that those > >miners could have been manifested out of that pit, or better yet, if we were > >all acting as the Dalai Llama, they probably wouldn't be there in the first > >place as we might not be mining coal any more.I don't think you can compare > >freeing Tibet from the Chinese and freeing these miners from the shaft. > > Thanks for your note, Christy. > > I'm not comparing free Tibet with freeing miners from the shaft.
