Just open a command window and type ipconfig and you will get the results. Getting a public domain for your web server requires a domain name to be registered and then name servers configured to point to your IP address. This is assuming you have a permanent connection to the Internet. >From your first question (about how to get public IP address) it looks like you don't have a permanent connection to the Internet. So it would be better for you to use the IP address. There are tools like DynIP (www.dynip.com) which put a small software on your system and then give you http://something.dynip.com - whenever somebody visits that site, if you are connected to the Internet, the software on your system automatically gets the redirection done to your PC. It will be accessed throughout India. If u want to access ur application through intranet of various different location, u need to give public ip address and public domain for ur web server.
