But in the solution that Srini provided this is one read but the resultSet is then processed in memory to get the output ... As simple as that ... But having said this if your query is on a relatively small table in the order of few thousands then you can use the given solution ... And to answer and use the solution from what Srini has given use the normal binding to the grid for the normal recordset that comes first. Then use NEXTResultSet to get the grand total stuff ...
