You can use the Enterprise Manager snap-in that comes with SQL Server. You need to 
navigate to the Server Roles node and then choose the sysadmin role. You can 
double-click this role and add members to it.   Another option is to use the 
sp_addrolemember stored procedure. The easiest however is to use the Enterprise
