----------------------------------------------------------- From: Saravana Message 2 in Discussion Hi, When you call __doPostBack(<source>,<eventargs>) method. It will set value for __EVENTTARGETand __EVENTARGUMENT hidden elements and then it will submit the page. With the help of this two hidden elements aspx page will understand which element does the postback and correspondigly it will call its methods. So if you want to do postback manually for any element, you have to pass that element as its parameter to __doPostBack method. For more details about this refer this article, http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpcongeneratingclient-sidejavascriptforpostback.asp -Saravana www.extremeexperts.com ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
