I checked the Service Pack ver on client and server the below are the result, hope SP3 is not installed. Service pack ver of SQL server Client on my system: ------------------------------------------ SELECT @@VERSION GO >>>>> Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.194 Service pack ver of SQL server server machine: ---------------------------------- SELECT @@VERSION GO >>>>> Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.384 and on server MSSQLSERVER service is running, but SQLSERVERAgent isnot running.
