Hi Satheesh!
I think you should go for
having Resource files (that is .RES files) in the
Presentation and Database tier of your project. You will need to store your
customized user friendly messages with a assigned numbers to it in these RES
files. Then pass on the this number from the Database tier to Presentation tier
as a return message. Based on this number, you can popup a relevant message
taking RES file on the Presentation layer. This is how I used to work with
3-Tier using Visual Basic 6.0. But, am not sure if this concept works in Net
too!

Hi Pradeep,
Infact I am still in
design phase only and I am using abstract factory patterns for
database handling.
Somehow I am not still not clear on how
error message will reach the front end..
Infact i have to
directly invoke the components
Any light into
this..
