Hi all, We am facing a severe problem with database connectivity. We are using
MySql 4.1 as backEnd for an ASP.NET application. ByTeFx as MySql ADO.NET data
provider. We get the Error: ByteFx: Too Many Connections We use the connection
sequence like this Dim dbconn as new MySqlConnection(connStr) dbconn.open() '..... 'Do
queries on the database '....... dbconnn.close() dbconn.dispose() My doubts are! 1.
How are database connections maintained by the Connection Objects? 2. Is the sequence
mentioned above the right way of closing connections.? 3. How can I troubleshoot
database connection problems? Is it possible to display the no. of connections
used/available? Waiting for the best from you all on this issue!
