----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: dotNetSamurai Message 3 in Discussion Hi Prithvi, Can you please provide as to why COM+ (despite being more scalable) is a Pain in implementation. If I opt for IIS for hosting the remote object I would have to use HTTP for message calls right. Would that not be a performance loss because if I lost the remote object in a Windows Service/other managed executable I can use leaner binary TCP protocol. I am using a Win Form application for invoking the remote object .... should I 've to make HTTP request to the remote object. regards, Saurabh Bhatnagar ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
