Hi Aravind,   Both J2EE and .NET are platforms which provide excellent support for 
building enterprise applications and large systems.   It is a matter of choice for 
which platform to go to.   I work in the .NET environment and I can tell you that 
stuff here is exciting. There are a lot of advances made in a very short timeframe by 
Microsoft to scale up to a platform like .NET for development. The work hasn't stopped 
and we're seeing newer things coming in everyday. If I'm not wrong, in the J2EE world 
- this is not the case at the moment. There are too many vendors and hence differing 
standards.   I would suggest you look at which technology really interests you and
