Hi, I go with Pandurang!   In the business world both .NET and J2EE have the similar 
market.   With my experience in working with .NET, the area is very challenging and 
interesting. You can do what ever you want and you will be more productive in the .NET 
world. MS has advancing the .NET technology to help the developers code efficiently 
and easily. Also in my personal opinion leaning .NET is much easier than learning Java 
or J2EE.   Also, According to a recent study 56% of enterprises surveyed will be using 
the .NET Framework as their primary development environment in 2005.    For more
