It looks like that used to be a problem with Sphinx [1]. Tracking it down to a specific Sphinx commit: Bisecting, the errors stop at: changeset: 2304:a391af8c7429 user: Georg Brandl <[email protected]> date: Sat Jun 19 21:37:10 2010 +0200 summary: Do not stop even at severe docutils errors, continue build. Which happened between Sphinx 0.6.7 and 1.0. I just checked the logs for my numpdoc-less 1.0.7 build, and there 'Unexpected section title' errrors were still there, but the build completed without the problematic titles. So it looks like Debian's BE package may have to wait for either of: * Sphinx >= 1.0 * Numpdoc [1]: http://groups.google.com/group/sphinx-dev/browse_thread/thread/db7eafa20c1465d1 -- This email may be signed or encrypted with GPG (http://www.gnupg.org).
