Dan & others,

Sorry for the delayed response.

We have hardware now, and it might even work. We had some issues with the clock chip and a couple of the connector pinouts were incorrect. However, we finally managed to talk with the FPGA and hopefully will start testing over the next week. I'll post results as we get them, and hope to roll out a REV2 board sometime this summer.

Here are photo's of the board Chris sent me:

Hopefully, I can blink some LED's next week. It sucks that I am having a life this weekend :)

Hi, has there been more progress on this? I've been looking into connecting Gumstix to the USRP (as per Philip's example) with some limited results. We are working on using GNU Radio to get a decent data rate over USB, but this can only go so far. I would be interested in a better interface like you
mentioned so have been watching the forum.
I might be able to look into this further over the summer so it would be
useful to have some sort of test equipment. We could possibly make
something ourselves, but just exploring options at this point.
Anyway, this seems like an interesting project so please keep us posted :)

I'll let Chris answer this, I'm busy ordering test equipment ...
