Hi, has there been more progress on this? I've been looking into connecting Gumstix to the USRP (as per Philip's example) with some limited results. We are working on using GNU Radio to get a decent data rate over USB, but this can only go so far. I would be interested in a better interface like you mentioned so have been watching the forum.
I might be able to look into this further over the summer so it would be useful to have some sort of test equipment. We could possibly make something ourselves, but just exploring options at this point. Anyway, this seems like an interesting project so please keep us posted :) Dan
