Robert, thanks for the prompt response. I downloaded the image: https://rcn-ee.com/rootfs/2015-07-08/microsd/bone-debian-8.1-console-armhf-2015-07-08-2gb.img.xz to my Windows laptop, extracted it using 7-Zip and got the .img file. I then used the Win32DiskImager to make the bootable SD. The write was successful as per a pop-up message, but my Windows machine fails to see any content on the SD. I however tried to boot off the BBB from the SD, but nothing happens and it doesn't boot. I tried these steps a few times without any success. I followed the same steps for an Angstrom image and it worked ok. Any reason, why it doesn't work or what could I be doing wrong here?? Thanks Jey
