Robert, I have the mini-USB port connected to the BBB and the other end of the USB cable connected to my laptop running Windows. I can't connect to it via putty, as my Windows doesn't detect the BBB. When you say "USB serial adapter" do you mean USB cable running the serial session? thx jey
