Thanks Robert and William.
with the HDMI connection I was able to see the console and able to issue
the following commands:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install linux-image-3.15.10-bone8
It gone thru several lines of display, and here are the last 5 lines:
Unpacking linux-image-3.15.10-bone8 (1jessie) ...
Setting up linux-image-3.15.10-bone8 (1jessie) ...
update-initrmfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-3.15.10-bone8
zz-uenv_txt: Updating /boot/uEnv.txt [uname-r=3.15.10-bone8]
debian@arm:~$
Then I issued the "sudo reboot" command, but it didn't reboot anything The
screen just went blank and also I can't connect via the USB-serial session.
I tried this a couple of times without any success.
Has the image 3.15.10 been written into SD or it supposed to boot from the
DRAM?
Am I missing any other steps?
Appreciate any help.
thx
jey
