Something that does come to mind is that there is a service that runs a set
of "generic" scripts at boot. One of these scripts does attempt to run
g_ether , or perhaps g_multi on the USB OTG interface. This kernel module I
believe is not the same as the as the host kernel module that would have to
run on the host board. It's been a while since I've messed with all this
though . . .
