Perhaps. Among many other thingsd, it depends on what libraries you plan
to use for your screensaver. Is this an X screensaver, or something for a
text console only? There are libraries that exist for creating screen
savers tyhat you may be able to use in Perl, but this may not be something
for someone to whom programming is altogether a new thing.
